Danny Sharpe - Development Director
Danny qualified as a chartered Town Planner in 1992 and went on to work for several years in private practice in both the North East and in London. In 1998 he joined the main board of a national architecture practice where he worked advising a range of blue chip clients across the UK on all aspects of planning and development. Over the past five years he has worked in partnership with Ian Holmes in delivering over 700 new care home beds across the UK for the Executive Care Group. Danny also has operational experience, having spent most of 2010 managing the US Assisted Living business arm of the Executive Care Group in Florida. In October 2009, he was awarded "Best Director of Development" at the National over 50’s Housing Awards in London.
Ian Holmes - Property Director
Ian graduated in Project and Construction Management in 1996 after training in several different aspects of construction. He then spent the following 8 years in the public sector working for a large Local Authority before joining Capita Symonds and heading up major healthcare projects. He served as a director of a top 100 UK national architecture practice for three years before leaving to join forces with Danny Sharpe in 2007. That partnership has led to the delivery of over 500 new build care homes beds across the UK, together with a total redevelopment of out-dated stock to provide a further 200 higher standard beds. The success of those schemes culminated in Ian being voted "Man of the Year" at the National Over 50’s Housing Awards at a ceremony in in November 2010.
